A highly detailed raccoon curls up on this palm sized stone as if caught in the act of mischief. Perfectly sized for a pocket or pouch yet large enough to stand out in home decor display at one and a half inches at the widest, a half an inch thich, and nearly two inches at the longest point. This stone is from the greater Ohio Valley and is most likely a combination of limestone and quartz. I discovered it while digging in the garden. The spot of grass I was sitting on is a favorite place for a local coon to eat his prey. Each Spiritkeepers is a unique hand painted work of art and is individually numbered. The smooth protective coating creates a bottom that should be safe for most surfaces. This piece is intended for indoor display though surface is durable, water washable with cold water and care.
